WNUR Giveaway Terms and Conditions

 

Periodically, WNUR-FM (via Northwestern University) offers tickets and other prizes as giveaways with no consideration required. These contests may be promoted on air, online, and via email.

HOW TO ENTER: Enter the Giveaway by submitting your first and last name, home address, email address and phone number. Entries may be made by visiting www.wnur.org/donate or calling 847-866-WNUR during active giveaway schedules as announced on-air. No purchase or pledge necessary.

ELIGIBILITY: Anyone 18 years of age or older and a resident of the United States can enter the Giveaway. Void where prohibited by law.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: The designated number of winners will be noted in the Giveaway description. Winners will be selected by a random drawing within 10 business dayss of the giveaway deadline and notified by email or telephone. One winner per household. If contact information is requested from winner and the winner does not respond by the deadline indicated in the email notification, the prize will be released to another winner. WNUR and/or Northwestern University is not responsible for any mechanical telephone error, failure or omission; lost or misdirected mail, faxes, or e-mail, or e-mail service disruption. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries. A list with the winners’ names will be kept on file at WNUR Radio and are available by writing WNUR Giveaways, 1877 Campus Drive, Evanston IL 60208.

Prizes may be time-sensitive and will be noted as such. Prize winners are responsible for pick-up and redemption, as applicable, before the expiration date.

Tickets that are left at will-call or pickup become the responsibility of the venue conducting the event. WNUR and/or Northwestern University is not responsible for tickets that are lost at the venue or for errors or oversight at given venues.

GENERAL: By participating in Giveaways, participants agree to the Official Rules, and that WNUR and/or Northwestern University, its agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the Giveaway. Prize is nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions for a prize. WNUR and/or Northwestern University may use winners’ names for publicity purposes without further compensation. All decisions of station management with regard to the awarding of prizes, the selection of the recipient, and the interpretation of these rules are final. Taxes and expenses as a result of winning each prize are the responsibility of the winner.
